Traditional / Final Dentures

Traditional, replacement, or final dentures are removable custom-made dentures designed to replace missing teeth after the gums and bone have fully healed from extractions. For many patients, these dentures become the final long-term set following immediate dentures worn during the healing phase.
Because the healing process has already stabilized, final dentures often provide a more accurate fit, improved comfort, better stability, and more natural esthetics. Healing also creates a more ideal foundation for tooth placement, bite alignment, and denture reinforcement.
One of the advantages of a final denture is the opportunity to improve on things patients may have disliked about a previous set. Tooth shape, size, shade, smile appearance, bite, support, and overall fit can all be adjusted and customized to create a more natural and comfortable result.
These dentures are designed around each patient’s facial profile, smile, and individual preferences to create a denture that feels personal rather than artificial. Our goal is to create dentures that not only restore function, but also help patients feel comfortable smiling, speaking, and eating again.
However, fabricating the denture is only part of the process. Proper adjustments and bite refinement are essential to achieving the best possible result. At SmileCraft Dentures, we work closely with patients to fine-tune comfort, fit, and appearance because even small adjustments can make a significant difference in how dentures feel and function.
Experience matters when creating natural-looking dentures. Attention to detail throughout the process helps us achieve results that look balanced, comfortable, and confident.
